A floating photovoltaic power station is connected to the grid in Huainan
At 13:50 on March 30, the floating photovoltaic power station -- 20MW Yuguangcomplementary photovoltaic power station in The Coal subsidence area of Huainan was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The project was invested and constructed by Xinyi Solar Energy Holding Co., LTD. It utilized the idle water in the coal subsidence area with a total investment of about 200 million yuan and an estimated annual generating capacity of 23 million kilowatts.
Compared with traditional photovoltaic power stations, floating photovoltaic power stations install photovoltaic power generation modules on floating bodies of water, which can not occupy land resources, reduce water evaporation, and inhibit algae growth. Meanwhile, water cooling photovoltaic modules and cables can also effectively improve power generation efficiency. According to the provincial energy related personage, the completion and operation of xinyi Solar energy water photovoltaic power station demonstration project in Huainan coal mining subsidence area has accumulated important experience for the construction of national advanced technology photovoltaic demonstration base in Huainan coal mining subsidence area.
